Dawn is an 11-year-old with mitochondrial disease and she is a devoted Star Trek fan. Her Make-A-Wish request was to attend Dragon Con and possibly meet Patrick Stewart.
Dragon Con is a sci-fi and fantasy convention in Georgia and Sir Patrick surprised the little Trekkie and spent some time with her before speaking to a packed crowd of over 2000 people.

Patrick is a class act and spent some quality time with Dawn and as their meeting wrapped up, Dawn reached over and gave a huge hug to Sir Patrick that was brilliantly captured by photographer James Barker.
