Children’s Mental Health Ontario held a video contest to feature videos that show how we can all take the stigma out of kids’ mental health issues. The winning video, ‘Beauty Behind Becca’, was submitted and created by filmmakers Natasha Boshoff and Suaad Issa. They couldn’t have picked a better person than Becca to appear in their video.
Becca Cala is truly inspiring. This young woman wants to break the stigma around mental health and proves that nothing stands in her way. Besides being diagnosed with Tourettes Syndrome, Pervasive Mental Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and ADHD, she has learned to rise above it and inspires everyone that meets her.
Watch “Beauty Behind Becca” and help break the stigma around mental health.
