Chris Cornell was an amazing musician with a one-of-a-kind voice. Cornell founded Soundgarden but he collaborated with several artists during his career. When you heard one of his new songs on the radio, you knew it with was Chris by his distinct voice alone.
Unfortunately, the music world lost Chris Cornell at the age of 52 on May, 2017. He had three children and one of them is 12-year-old Toni Cornell. She recently sang a tribute to her late father with OneRepublic on Good Morning America. It was such a beautiful tribute that audience members could be seen weeping while Cornell and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder sang ‘Hallelujah‘ together.
Watch Toni Cornell sing ‘Hallelujah’ with OneRepublic on ABC’s Good Morning America…
The song was also dedicated to Chester Bennington, lead singer of Linkin Park. A close friend of Cornell, he also passed away from suicide in July of 2017. Please share this beautiful tribute from 12-year-old Toni Cornell to her father Chris Cornell with your friends and family.
